COVID-19 Update

Corona-Virus-Service-Update_Title-Slide

Here are some major updates regarding the re-opening process. These dates are all tentative, depending on state and local guidance.

Phase 3: Limited Operations (September 20, 2020)

During this phase, we will continue to slowly "open back up." There are important changes to times and procedures. Please read all the bullet points carefully.

  • Chairs will be placed at limited social distances for the Worship Service. Social distancing should be practiced whenever possible, and masks are strongly recommended.
  • LIFEGroups will begin at 10:30 AM. There are many reasons for shortening this time, mainly revolving around keeping younger children in one room for LIFEGroup and Children's Church. If parents wish to give their children a snack/drink, they must be provided from home. Students in Nursery and Preschool will remain in their classrooms from 10:30 until the conclusion of the Worship Service and will only be released to their parent/guardian.
  • The building will be sanitized before and after every service.
  • The offering will continue to be collected at the boxes at the rear of the Worship Center.
  • There will still be no hugs or handshakes.
  • Children's workers will still be screened for a fever.
  • Beginning September 16, we will resume Wednesday night activities under a limited format. Programming will run from 7-8:00 PM. There will be NO OPEN GYM time. Students will go directly to their classroom and will remain there until they are picked up by their parents/guardians. Game time will be in classrooms and not in the gym. There will be no snacks.

Phase 4: Steady-State Operations (TBD)

  • Life will be mostly normal. However, as the situation evolves, there may still be some restrictions that need to be put in place.
  • Sunday Evening activities will resume.

This has been a long and difficult process. Hang in there! If you need help, reach out. You can contact Pastor Turner at 518.810.3944 or by email. Together, we will get through this!
