COVID-19 Update

Here are some major updates regarding the re-opening process. These dates are all tentative, depending on state and local guidance.

Phase 1: Reduced Operations (June 21, 2020)

Beginning June 21, 2020, there will be one service, at 11:00 AM, but there will be no LIFEGroups, Nursery, or Jr. Church. At this time, we DO plan to continue to have an online presence for those that are vulnerable, or not yet comfortable with being in public. Our gathering will be limited to about 180 people.

  • The entire facility will be sanitized before and after every single service.
  • Chairs will be placed at appropriate social distances.
  • A parking lot attendant will direct you to one of four parking areas. You will be asked to enter and exit through the nearest door to your parking spot.
  • A First Impressions Team member will escort you to your seat. They will have masks and gloves on. There will be no bulletins. You are asked to remain at your seat unless you MUST go to the restroom. We ask that when possible, you go to the restroom alone.
  • There will be NO handshakes or hugs (sorry!!!!).
  • The offering will be placed in one of two boxes attached to the rear wall of the Worship Center. We will not "pass the plate."
  • Masks are encouraged but are not required. You will not be turned away if you choose not to wear a mask.
  • You will be escorted from your seat by a First Impressions Team member at the conclusion of the service. Please remain at your seat until you are excused. You will leave through the same door which you entered, which should be closest to your vehicle.
  • There will still be no Sunday Evening nor Wednesday Evening activities.

Phase 2: Restricted Operations (August 9, 2020)

During this phase, we will return to providing a Nursery and Jr. Church during our Worship Service.

  • All of the Phase 1 Operations will remain in place. The biggest difference will be the provision of childcare during our two worship service.
  • All children's workers will be screened for fever prior to serving. They will also wear masks and gloves while caring for your children.
  • Families who are not comfortable with placing their children in childcare are, as always, more than welcome to have their children remain in the service.
  • All children's rooms will be sanitized before and after every service.

Phase 3: Limited Operations (August 23, 2020)

During this phase, we will return to normal a Sunday morning, including LIFEGroups for all ages. However, some practices will still be limited. There is no timetable for this Phase.

  • The normal flow of traffic will be returned to the two main entrances.
  • Chairs will be placed at limited social distances.
  • LIFEGroups will begin at 9:45 AM. There will be one service at 11:00 AM. There will be no food or coffee in classrooms.
  • The building will be sanitized before and after every service.
  • There will still be an online presence for those who are most vulnerable.
  • The offering will continue to be collected at the boxes at the rear of the Worship Center.
  • There will still be no hugs or handshakes.
  • Children's workers will still be screened for a fever.
  • There will be no Sunday Evening or Wednesday Evening Activities.

Phase 4: Steady-State Operations (September 14, 2020)

  • Life will be mostly normal. However, as the situation evolves, there may still be some restrictions that need to be put in place.
  • Sunday Evening and Wednesday Evening activities will resume.
