When you’re abiding in Christ, His life is evident in your life, and what’s in His heart will be on your heart.
The Bible shows us that those far from God were clearly on the heart of Jesus. As followers of Jesus, we share in God’s mission both locally and globally. You can participate by praying, sending, giving, and going on teams reaching out to our neighbors and the nations.
Locally
Once a month, we prepare meals and take them to the Powell County Homeless Coalition to help meet the needs of the less fortunate members of our community. You can help by praying for open doors to share the Gospel, preparing a warm meal, packaging the food, and delivering.
Regionally
We regularly work with Pastor Jared Davis and Restored Church of Middletown, Ohio. In the past, we have been involved in light projects, engaging the community in Gospel conversation, encouraging our Restored Church planters, and hosting a block party or other event to engage the community. Moving forward, we will continue to pray, give, encourage, and, as opportunities arise, travel in teams to support this exciting church plant.
Internationally
Our attention has turned to the state of Acre, Brazil. Acre is a forgotten place for many people, even the people of Brazil tease that the state does not exist. But God cares for Acre and the lovely people that live there. EBC is engaged in church strengthening, doctrinal instruction, church planting, and frontier evangelism. If you love relationships, just hanging out with people and sharing the love of Christ, this trip is for you!
