Douglas serves as the Lead Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where his primary calling is to preach and teach God’s word and the lead the church in fulfilling Christ’s mission–to take the Good News to our neighbors and the nations.
Family
Douglas and his wife, Catherine, are both pastor’s kids. They met in Upstate New York, and served in ministry there before relocating to metro-Atlanta, Georgia. In 2016, they moved to Stanton to link arms with the EBC family.
Other Interests
Douglas loves serving Christ on mission overseas and has had the privilege of ministering in nearly 20 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. Closer to home, he enjoys golfing, hiking, and hunting—and if he isn’t doing one of those, there’s a good chance he’s watching sports. His favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Manchester United Football Club.
Education
Douglas holds a B.A. in Political Science from Messiah College, and a M.Div. in Pastoral Studies from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
